I am still Lost about GPS?

Ok here we go again i have narrowed it down to three brands: garmin, tomtom and nextar. I have read revies about how garmin is supposed to be the best but sometimes the directions are off a little. I have read that tomtom doesn’t have good battery life. but it give you the street names and garmin does not. Now a friend of mine has a nextar and he is crazy about it. My main thing is i wont want it mounted on my window so what is it me to do? can i do it on my dashboard?

Owned diff. brands of GPS. They have pros and cons but Garmin is the best. Ofcourse if you buy a 2004 model Garmin,no match to the features in new model TOM-tom or Nextar. Yes it comes wtih a dashboard mount adhesive disc not to be confused with the cdrom which is also a disc. It is a round plastic with adhesive for sticking it to dashboard so instead of hanging it in the windshield, you can stick the sucktion mount in the dashboard.
